The Bible Serpent is a master liar and influencer. So much so, that you don’t even realize how real and present it is.

The Bible Serpent is a liar and influencer above all.

The Bible Serpent is a liar and influencer above all. It carries more weight than you might realize.

The Bible Serpent is a real spirit being. God created Lucifer, and this archangel’s glory went to its head. It became the first being to rebel against its Creator. God had endowed it with Free Choice. That means Lucifer could make ANY decision it wanted. It, therefore, possessed plasticity concerning its behavior. It could run the gamut from excellent moral behavior to degrading, immoral behavior. Bible history tells us that Lucifer went from moral to immoral. It changed its nature from beautiful to beastly, from righteousness to wickedness. Lucifer turned itself into the Serpent; it made its own choice.
(Agony of Humankind, chapter 1.6)

Lucifer conducted itself along a definite pathway that I outlined in Audit of Humankind. Firstly, it possesses a flexible nature; we’d call it dual nature. In other words, the possibility of going up or down the behavioral scale. Secondly, it possessed free choice to decide, of and by itself, what character it would ultimately form; that’s the result. Put another way, plastic or flexible nature + free will = behavior.

One of the components of free choice is freedom of speech. To be able to say whatever you please, no matter to whom it is, no matter what it is, no matter how it is done. The subject of free choice of speech has become a significant issue on the Internet, and in Western countries in general. What some consider as excessive expression is interfering with everything from politics to leading a decent life. It has caused us to rear ugly heads over Brexit and the USA pre-elections. In France, we are going through the Mila affair where detractors are threatening an adolescent girl with death because of her violent words against Islam.

The Bible serpent is the master of the illegitimate use of freedom of speech. It is a manipulator of angels and human beings. It started right in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:1-5

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Yea, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

4 And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die:

5 For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In the moment of a conversation, we go from Godly truth (You shall not eat) to Serpently lie (You shall not surely die). From the Word of God to the word of the Bible Serpent, both pronounced by the same liar. We find the liar quoting the identical original phrases. God said, surely die. The Serpent says, not surely die. A more opposed statement is not possible.

Within seconds the Bible Serpent reveals its contradictory nature, its knowledge of, quotation of, opposition to and rejection of God’s Word. That’s a lot to digest. Meditate on this. This liar of liars can tell you the honest truth then turn around on a dime, look you right in the eyes, and shoot off the grossest untruth. It’ll resort to anything and everything to make its point.

Humankind’s reasoning, including observation, philosophy, science, and religion, has still not digested the Serpent’s nature. I need to repeat that. Humankind does not have an understanding of how truth and lies have invaded its way of thinking. Yes, we humankind can figure out truths, but the Bible Serpent can and often does wrap them up in falsity and pass them off as beliefs. In spite of the saying, the devil is in the details; humanity does not believe that such a being can have such an influence.

The Bible states this being is a shyster. It is unscrupulous, unethical and disreputable, all wrapped up in one. And, it’s class-A in its deception capabilities.

Remember, the Bible Serpent has free choice. That is accompanied by FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, FREEDOM OF ACTION. This episode of the Serpent LYING, IN the Garden of Eden, DECEIVING Eve, is all the evidence we need to reach such a conclusion. The flip-side to such a conclusion is that God ALLOWS the Serpent ALL this FREEDOM. God is the strongest, He could forbid and chain the Bible Serpent, (He will in the future, Revelation 20:3) but He doesn’t. This enigma of WHY God allows the Serpent such freedom could be one of the mysteries of all times.

The Explanation has already solved that mystery. Here’s why God deliberately allowed evil in the Garden of Eden. The short answer is, There’s only ONE WAY (God’s way). PUT WRONG RELATIONSHIPS and PROBLEMS IN FRONT OF YOU (like the Serpent in the Garden) and see how you’re going to react with your neshama (human mind). That’s why God put the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden. That Tree and the Tree of Life give us a CHOICE which we make (free choice), And there are those positive and negative influences. The Bible Serpent is one of these influences, a main one.

So we have this arch-enemy equipped with a passkey to enter anywhere, almost at will; God can and does limit its activities as He sees fit. It’s not just physical doors it can open, it can penetrate the HUMAN MIND. That’s what it did with Eve. The Bible Serpent has fallen; it lured one-third of the angels along with itself, and its sole goal is to entice human beings in that same fall. It will pull out all stops to do so.

Lessons to engraved from the Bible Serpent’s encounter with Adam and Eve:

  1. The Serpent is incredibly intelligent.
  2. It quotes scripture.
  3. In the next breath, it tells outrageous lies.
  4. It justifies those lies by telling you, “you’re going to HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL GAIN” by following its lead.
  5. There IS a benefit, but it is relatively short-lived, and an awful letdown follows.

The intelligence of the Bible Serpent is like a systematic criminal who has targetted a suspect done his detective work. He knows their comings and goings and especially their weakest points, their gullibility. It could be their naivety, their desire for money, fame, power, love, even their of helping others, self-effacement, or their spirituality. All the characteristics can be positives, but when exaggerated, transform into powerful negative leverage points. The Serpent knows how to pinpoint and abuse each of our weaknesses. We are prone to its abuse.

Before this gets too gloomy, I will tell you forthrightly that God has also equipped human beings with the necessary tools to hold the Bible Serpent at bay. Human beings can lead proper and decent lives doing good deeds and accomplishing worthwhile endeavors. A few verses, further on in Genesis 3, it tells us how God equips us. I’m going to keep you in suspense until we reach that verse.

One of the rules for mastering Biblical Hebrew is knowing the meaning of names. For Greek, it is similar; through a name, we grasp a more in-depth understanding of the nature of the individual who carries that name. The word devil means more than we think.

Revelation 12:9

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil (G1228), and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Related primarily to what comes out of the mouth. What we reason and speak.

G1228

diabolos (dee-ab’-ol-os); from NT:1225; a traducer; specially, Satan [compare OT:7854]:

KJV – false accuser, devil, slanderer.

The meaning of traducer is to speak maliciously and falsely of; slander; defame: to traduce someone’s character; this is character assassination. There’s a lot of that going around social media.

The Explanation does not focus on what we call prophetic events, which can be prone to misinterpretation. Too many take God’s Words and apply them to today, right now. These prophecies will take place, but I do NOT KNOW WHEN. Here’s one which includes the term diabolos.

2 Timothy 3:1-4

1 This knows also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers (G1228), incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

It’s the term last days, which refers to a time before Christ’s Second Coming. As I said, many apply that to now, this generation. Well, that LAST generation used it to say it was their generation, and it wasn’t. I do NOT KNOW when this is. But, the characteristics that describe that generation seem to be present. Of course, it can get a lot worse. In verse 3, false accusers is the same Greek word as devils.

The Bible Serpent accused God of withholding information, of not telling Adam and Eve what their real future would be if they ate of the forbidden tree. Blaming God this way is tantamount to lying, which is precisely the nature of the Serpent.

The culprit carries various names but is identified: dragon, serpent, Devil, and Satan, which is retrieved from Biblical Hebrew (OT 7852 – 7854) where Strong’s uses defining terms such as lurk, persecute, attack, accuse, opponent, arch-enemy of good. Satan operates in a continual mode of attacking opponents to draw individuals away from God’s goodness to his contrary ways and with his distorted wisdom. It’s a first-class recruiter as witnessed by the above verse where it convinced and drew one out of every three of God’s created angels to its horrendous cause. He heads an army of mercenaries pilfered from God’s ranks. As soon as the Bible serpent gets an inkling of the free will of one of the faithful angels waning to disillusion, like a flash, he’s there with a better offer to jump ship and join his own force.

And then comes the boldest and most dastardly lie of all times, ‘Eve, don’t worry, you won’t die’ in total contradiction to what God had clearly stated. And as I write, in complete opposition, is it? After all, they didn’t die immediately on eating the fruit, so how truthful are God’s consequences? The Bible serpent is the ‘father’ of liars, this is second nature to it. It can say anything with a convincing straight face. And, as we know, often the bigger the lie, the more the gullibility of the audience. Then, without a break, the serpent drives home his advantage with a half-truth, which is a mathematical way of putting it, in every other way, it’s a lie. It’s a master of manipulation of twisted truth, that’s why it’s often a challenge to unravel what is fact and what isn’t. It’s fed us so much debatable information in our information society, what is truth? What is deceit?

Influencers are not new

The term influencer and the profession of influence marketing are entirely new. Some might not know what the latter is, but with billions of people on social media, it’s big business. Did you know that an influencer with a reactive group of followers can earn over one million dollars per post? They have the power to influence the purchasing decisions of their readers, listeners, adepts because of their particular knowledge, position, and authority, or a combination of these factors.

Beyond the Internet, there have always been influencers in the fields of Journalism, academics, professional advisors, industry, and politics. Some do it without even trying. All Kate Middleton has to do is wear a dress for it to be sold out in minutes.

Influencers carry a heavy responsibility for what they do and say. People who are looked up to in the financial and health fields affect our very daily monetary, dietary, and mental investments. That is the essence of our very being.

Influencers might be a new media phenomenon, but influencing is as old as humanity. The Bible  Serpent was the first. And, as strange as it might sound, its jumping into the scene and rapid-fire intervention with Adam and Eve is not an isolated case by any means. The Bible Serpent is continually lurking and luring to see whom it can recruit. Not only to its jaded way of thinking but also to spread its pernicious ways far and wide. Here’s an example.

Job 1:7

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Satan, the Bible Serpent, is not doing this to get exercise. It has a well-thought-out plan that it has been executing since the Garden of Eden. It is the master of social influencing. We are going to be looking closely at the practical methods it uses to reach its goal of injecting opposition, misinformation, and lies regarding God in human beings.

Sam’s Reflections

Immediately, at Creation, there’s communication and language. Historically, what are the first confirmed appearance of languages and writing? Egyptian, Sumerian, Canaanite, and Akkadian are among the contenders. It is not the intention of The Explanation to dwell on this subject. Much literature exists should you want to deepen your comprehension of this fascinating mystery.

The origin of languages and dates of spoken language are hotly disputed. There is no evidence of an alphabet or speech before 4000 BC. After that time, we find diverse alphabets and languages appearing simultaneously around the world. In Audit of the Universe, we discussed the origin of languages. We differentiated between spoken language and communication. Once we get into the Bible and Genesis with the story of the origin of humankind, it becomes clear that a complete language (vocabulary, grammar, syntax) was given to Adam and Eve. In Genesis 6 we shall see that other languages were also given instantaneously.

When you understand the complexity of a language, including the irregularities, one could almost say the irrationalities of grammar and spelling are beyond the human mind. Even today, linguists and grammarians have great difficulty trying to get their heads around any given language. There is much we don’t understand.

Languages do change over time. But they do so within bounds and based on a former foundation. No new spoken language has made an appearance on the world scene in millennia. Instead, we discover new spoken languages like Jedek in 2017 spoken by 280 people in the Malay PeninsulaIn. Languages are associated with sociability, which is one of the characteristics of humankind.
